Laser Manufacturing Technician

Associate in Applied Science Degree

 

The Laser Manufacturing Technician Program at Three Rivers Community College was developed by the RCNGM, and is a state-of-the-art industry driven curriculum designed to meet the needs of the 21st century laser manufacturing industry.  The Laser Manufacturing Technician is a highly skilled professional with a working knowledge of electronics, lasers, optics, materials, engineering documentation, CAD/CAM, systems integration, and lean manufaturing.  The laser manufacturing technician is capable of working productively in industries that manufacture, integrate (OEM) and/or use lasers and laser-based systems in a manufacturing environment.

Students who complete the Laser Manufacturing Technician program may also choose to transfer to Central Conencticut State Unviersity where their credits will be accepted into the Industrial Technology bachelor's degree program or to Charter Oak State College.
