Technology Studies Degree Offered

Highly skilled technicians are in great demand among today's manufacturers. To be competitive in a rapidly changing, technologically advanced workforce, workers from machinists to CNC programmers have to be be well-rounded, with solid backgrounds in math, science, and technology.

The Technology Studies degree program is offered at all of Connecticut's community colleges through the College of Technology. The program includes coursework in:

  • engineering technology
  • industrial technology
  • math
  • science
  • basic foundations of manufacturing

What's more, if you successfully complete the program with a grade average of "C" or above, you can continue your studies automatically at Central Connecticut State University's School of Technology, where you can earn a bachelor of science degree in engineering technology, industrial technology, or technology education.
