The Metal Manufacturers Education and Training Alliance (METAL) and Housatonic Community College (HCC) have partnered with the CT College of Technology's Regional Center for Next Generation for Manufacturing under a grant from the National Science Foundation to support the creation of a distance learning (on-line) course for manufacturers. These courses are part of HCC's two-year Industrial Technology Option to the Technological Studies Associate in Science Degree Program(s). What is great about these classes is that students can take them at your facility, earn college credit and learn skills pertinent to new product development & technology. Even better is that this curriculum has been developed with input from manufacturers at all levels. This is one of the first programs of its kind in the country and we are excited to be a part of this unique and innovative training opportunity.
